Lightly Oxidized Oolong tea from the Fujian province. Picked from up high in the mountains where it is said to produce the best teas. This tea will unravel to reveal a smooth and well rounded infusion.
Steeping Instruction:
Brew 1 teaspoon full of tea leaves in 4 ounces of spring water (175-185°F) for 2 minutes. Can be reinfused several times by gradually increasing infusion time and water temperature.
A steeping ceramic cup or covered cup is recommended for steeping in order to appreciate the tea leaves.
This tea may be best served gong fu style with a small Yixing clay teapot. Fill a pre-warmed pot 1/4 to 1/2 full with tea leaves and cover with hot water (175-185°F) and leave to infuse for 1 minute to 2 minutes.
